Inspection

First, we visit your facility. At this time, we encourage you to ask questions to better familiarize yourself with sound masking. We also review your paging, music and security requirements.

Design

To properly design the LogiSon Acoustic Network, we require blueprints or CAD files of 1) the reflected ceiling plan, 2) the furniture layout and 3) the partition plan, including a legend showing deck-to-deck wall construction or other plenum obstructions. Once we have this information, we plan a custom sound masking installation. We consult contractors, designers and other trades as needed.

After designing your sound masking system, we provide a quotation.

Installation

Installation can be handled by our in-house technicians, a third-party installation company or your own electrical contractor. The hubs and loudspeakers are usually placed in a grid-like pattern above the suspended ceiling, but they can also be installed in open or hard ceilings. Wiring is simple, consisting of a single line of low-voltage cable. The compact control panel can be fitted to a wall or located in an equipment closet. Our components meet UL, FCC and CE standards and are approved for use in air-handling plenums.

Tuning & Commissioning

To ensure maximum performance, we program the system either independently or in conjunction with your acoustical consultant. Setup is completed from this panel or our user-friendly Acoustic Network Manager software. It includes tuning the sound masking; establishing timer, keypad and paging zones; adjusting the volume and equalizer settings for sound masking and paging; scheduling the timer functions; selecting the paging channels; and establishing the user parameters for the keypads.

Maintenance

After the installation, we follow up to ensure your satisfaction. We also encourage you to maintain contact with us so we can ensure the sound masking system operates at peak effectiveness throughout its lifecycle. A quick site visit can determine if structural or organizational changes call for adjustments.

Relocation

If you move, we can move the sound masking system to your new premises.
